A true milestone in horological history, the Bulova Accutron Spaceview was the world’s first mass-produced battery-powered watch, and a direct predecessor to the quartz revolution. This 1966 model (marked M6) features the legendary 214 tuning fork movement — a mechanical-electronic hybrid that hums at 360 Hz to smoothly sweep the seconds hand across its iconic open dial.
This particular Spaceview is housed in a 10ct gold-filled case and has been fully rebuilt and serviced by a tuning fork specialist in 2023. The signature green circuit board and exposed tuning fork are beautifully showcased under the crystal, capturing the essence of 1960s space-age watchmaking.
It comes fitted to a vibrant, barely worn green leather strap that perfectly complements the tech-forward design. A new battery will be installed for the buyer.
